Ms. Aesha Lagha will present a seminar talk through Zoom on June 11th 2020. Zoom ID will be sent sometime before the talk.
Title: Systems of Conservation Laws
Time: June 11th 2020, 3:30pm - 4:30pm
A conservation law is a PDE that describes time evolution of some quantity that is conserved in time. The first talk we will briefly go over some of the most important conservation laws such as conservation of mass, conservation of momentum and energy, and see how they work and how we can use them to obtain the equations of motion of compressible fluid and gases.
